Move reflects ambitions to strengthen and clarify College’s age

Georgia Tech announced the academic programs in the College of Architecture will be re-established as five schools: Architecture; Building Construction; City and Regional Planning; Industrial Design; and Music, continuing the College of Architecture’s momentum to strengthen its disciplines, improve its graduate and undergraduate student experiences, and fortify its research agenda.

In tandem with the College of Archtecture’s move to Schools, the College is transforming internally to provide students with better services and fewer disciplinary boundaries. The newly formed Office of Undergraduate Programs is designed to offer streamlined, expert advisement just for undergraduate students, and greater support and access to extra- and co-curricular opportunities like research, exhibitions, internships and Institute-wide projects.
