What is CIS/2@GT about?

Exchange Capabilities : translator's exchange capabilties and workflows between systems with CIS/2 exchange capability.

Test Files : descriptions of test environment for a test file, test files from paticipating developers and a report on each test case file.

Document Library : contains CIS/2 tutorials, and event and news of CIS/2.

Developer : Exclusive to developers. CIS/2@GT forum, LPM schema, GT appication download, and documents of CIS/2 workshops.

North American Steel Construction Conference (NASCC) 2008

NASCC 2008 was held in Nashville, Tennessee.

Updates on the exchange matrix and new test case files


The exchange matrix is updated with new application, Risa-3D and RisaFloor, along with four new test files. 140002.stp (industrial.stp) is the first test case file with instances of assembly_design_structural_member_linear_brace.

CIS2 IFC Translator Pre-release and GT Interoperability User Forum


CIS2-to-IFC and IFC-to-CIS2 transltors are avaiable to download now at the GT CIS2IFC website.
GT Interoperability Forum is an on-line user forum for developers and users to discuss and post CIS/2 or IFC related issues. Links for both the GT CIS2IFC website and GT nteroperability Forum is shown in the upper corner of the GT CIS/2 website (see picture below)
