The Legacy of Its Construction

Saturday, February 9, 2008
College of Architecture Auditorium
East Architecture Building
245 Fourth Street
Atlanta, Georgia 30332

The 2008 Dean’s Symposium will focus on the multiple influences that led to the building of Renaissance Florence, the framework that was created to achieve its realization, the influence that the design and construction of the Duomo exerted on subsequent works of architecture and construction, as well as the social and economic organization that we understand today as the Renaissance.

AIA Continuing Education Credits and Certified Professional Home Builder education credits will be available.

There is no registration fee; however, seating is limited so you must reserve your place before February 1, 2008.  For more information, please contact Dr. Leslie Sharp at leslie.sharp@coa.gatech.edu or 404-894-1096.

Support for the symposium is generously provided by Pat Jones and Draper & Associates in recognition of the interconnectivity of architecture and building construction. Additional support is provided by the Georgia Tech College of Architecture Alumni Committee.

The College wishes to thank its sponsors and Angela Della Costanza Turner, Event Honorary Chair and Supporter.
