Summer Study in Greece and Italy |

This program is designed to introduce the architecture, painting and sculpture of the Classical Greek, Roman, Renaissance and Baroque world to non-architecture students. An eight-week summer program that explores architecture, landscapes and urban design in three locations: Barcelona, Berlin and the Netherlands. The program examines the modern and contemporary city through the lens of the historical urban structure of each place and the ways that buildings, landscapes, and urban design have shaped it. Students earn 12 credits in this program, combining electives and independent research and documentation projects. Read more |

International Urban Design Workshop |

Students and faculty in this program visit various world cities to conduct urban design workshops in cooperation with urban design, architecture, and planning schools abroad. In one recent workshop, 15 Georgia Tech graduate students teamed up with 15 students from Tongji University in Shanghai to create urban design retrofit strategies for Pudong. Students normally earn six elective credits for the workshop and a companion course. |

Summer Building Construction Program in Paris, France |

Each week of this intensive, 11-week program includes two days of classes, two days of structured site visits in and around Paris, and an extended, three-day weekend that begins early each Thursday afternoon and ends when classes resume at noon on Monday. Read more |
