Technology

The College of Architecture centrally oversees and maintains a large number of computing resources that support the college’s academic, research, and administrative activities throughout its nine campus facilities.  The College of Architecture also provides remote access to technology resources for our national and international users.

In addition to providing access both a wired and wireless for personal computers the College of Architecture equips and supports 10 student computing labs located in various buildings across campus.  There are also a number of institute managed labs that are available for student use throughout campus.

Design Shop

The College of Architecture Design Shop is located in the East Architecture Building, ground floor, Room 4.  The Design Shop is only to be used by qualified Students and Faculty of the College of Architecture who: (1)Are enrolled and have completed the Basic Orientation Session, or (2) Have been approved by the Shop Director as competent in the safe use of the equipment (Example: Faculty/Staff).

Architecture Library

The College of Architecture Library, serving as an interdisciplinary resource, is conveniently located in the Architecture Building. The library's collections includes the leading architecture, planning and urban design periodicals and an extensive reference section. The Library also houses a computer cluster with conventional and oversize scanning capability.
