Tobacco/ Alcohol Use

In accordance with State of Georgia regulations, smoking is not allowed anywhere within college buildings or in the exterior stairways of the building. No smoking signs are posted in these areas. Smoking is permitted outside in the courtyard area only.

This policy also includes other tobacco products. In response to numerous complaints, the use of chewing tobacco is not allowed in college buildings.

The consumption of beer and other alcoholic beverages in college buildings is strictly prohibited by state law and campus regulations.

Those smoking outside are responsible for the proper disposal of cigarettes and other trash.
