Alumna Susan Sanders (M. Arch 1989), has returned to Atlanta to become the development associate for Georgia Tech's College of Architecture. In this role, Sanders collaborates with the advisory boards, faculty, alumni and friends to deepen philanthropic support of the College. Prior to her return to Georgia Tech, she co-founded and served as executive director of the Institute of Design + Culture in Rome, Italy; was Creative Director for Carrier Johnson Architects in San Diego; taught architectural design for the Universities of Arkansas and Kansas as well as the Savannah College of Art & Design; and served as the Hyde Chair of Excellence for the University of Nebraska.
