DATHA speakers to discuss "Sympathetic" communication devices

A DATHA (Design and Technology for Healthy Aging) meeting is scheduled for Wednesday October 28th 9-10:30AM in Room 207 if the Health Systems Institute (HSI) Building, located at 828 West Peachtree Street, NW, 2nd Floor, Atlanta, GA 30332. Brian Jones, Director of the Aware Home, and Claudia Rébola Winegarden, Assistant Professor in the Industrial Design program and Director of D-Matters Studio Lab will be sharing their work on “Sympathetic Devices.”They will present their pilot studies on designing inclusive communication technologies across housing options. Join them to learn about the different novel and interactive approaches taken to re-define inclusiveness and technologies for older adults.
