2008 Dean's Symposium

The Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore:
The Legacy of Its Construction.

Join us on Saturday, February 9, 2008 for this year’s Dean’s symposium. It will focus on the multiple influences that led to the building of Renaissance Florence, the framework that was created to achieve its realization, the influence that the design and construction of the Duomo exerted on subsequent works of architecture and construction, as well as the social and economic organization that we understand today as the Renaissance.

Free and open to the public; registration required.
