GT Chorale in concert at Spivey Hall

The Chorale is Georgia Tech's largest mixed ensemble. Open to all students, its members represent all colleges in the institute and many countries around the world. No audition is required to join the Chorale, and it is open to members of the Georgia Tech community (students, faculty & staff) and Mid-Town Atlanta residents who enjoy singing. Chorale is available for academic credit and rehearsals are held in the center of campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

Chorale repertoire varies from semester to semester, and includes large and small works in the standard repertoire (both unaccompanied and with instruments) modern music, and world music. Recent repertoire has included Mozart Requiem, Hadyn Te Deum, two Handel Coronation Anthems, Bernstein Chichester Psalms, Faure Requiem, numerous smaller works, modern and commissioned works, and music with texts in man y languages. The Chorale has appeared at numerous Atlanta churches, Spivey Hall, the Rialto Theatre, and the High Museum of Art.
