The vision of the industrial design program is to become one of the top five research-based programs in the country, supplying the world with undergraduate, masters and doctoral industrial design students who make a contribution to human-centered design through the use of research, aesthetics, and assistive technologies.
The ID Program mission is to provide a quality, human-centered design education that focuses on a range of creative, research, and assistive activities and technological skills, that allow our students to be highly competitive in the industrial design marketplace. The ID Program mission is to engage in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary product design activities on the Georgia Tech campus, local, national, and international industries. |
