This program, in existence since 1991, is a summer foreign study program for graduate students in architecture, urban design and planning. The program includes residence in each of the three cities for approximately two weeks in addition to other excursions, most recently for a week in Barcelona. The program focuses on modern and contemporary architecture, urban design and landscape architecture, with lectures, seminars, project visits and tours.
The Center for Quality Growth and Regional Development is a nationally prominent interdisciplinary research organization within the College of Architecture. A laboratory for the study of the contemporary city, its focus is on growth, development, planning, and design issues regionally and globally.
The College of Architecture Library, serving as an interdisciplinary resource, is conveniently located in the Architecture Building. The library's collections includes the leading architecture, planning and urban design periodicals and an extensive reference section. The Library also houses a computer cluster with conventional and oversize scanning capability.
