PhD students pitch ideas in the Architecture Library for an upcoming student publication.
Designers, architects, researchers, and musicians are all part of the research community in the College of Architecture. This community mixes science, technology, and the arts to develop new concepts, test them, and apply innovative ideas and best practices to help transform their respective fields. It is this which makes learning in the College of Architecture so personally satisfying.
According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, the Georgia Tech College of Architecture is one of the nation’s top three research-producing universities in the category of architecture. Students have the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the leading teacher-scholars in the world, both inside the College of Architecture and from all over campus.
Graduates enjoy a healthy alumni network in the region and around the globe. Master students are recruited and sought nationally for their expertise in their field. Out of 84 doctoral graduates, 61 hold academic positions in 20 universities in the United States and 20 universities representing nine different countries.
