Open House 2006

Prospective students are invited to attend our annual Open House on Friday, April 7, 2006.  This is an opportunity to meet and interact with faculty, staff, students and alumni of the program.  You will hear a historic and substantive overview of the program and presentations by the faculty concerning their teaching and research interests.  You will have an opportunity to speak with faculty, to tour the campus, and to meet alumni working in various aspects of planning.  At the end of the day you will have the opportunity to participate in a social event with students and alumni where, in a casual, relaxed setting, you can discuss your perceptions and concerns.  Below is the Open House agenda:

Alumni, students and faculty practicing in each of the seven specializations (land use, land development, economic development, geographic information systems, urban design, environmental planning and management, transportation) will be available to talk in small groups about the curriculum and the practice of planning and how the program prepares you for it.
