CP7090 - Applied Research Paper

Purpose

The purpose of this paper is to provide planning students who will not be writing a formal Master's Thesis with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence to produce a professional quality planning report. In consultation with a faculty member the student chooses a topic and conducts independent research. The student must produce a professional quality report or project that draws on the knowledge and techniques developed in other courses. This experience serves as a capstone experience that requires students to organize and execute a significant project. It also provides the student with experience in writing a significant professional report.
