Purpose
The purpose of the Master's Thesis is to provide students with an opportunity to undertake significant original research. The thesis is intended for students who intend to pursue their studies beyond the Masters. The student must undertake a significant pinch of research under the guidance of a faculty committee. The student must write a thesis that demonstrates their scholarly capabilities and the knowledge and skills developed in other courses. The thesis experience serves as a capstone experience for students who intend to pursue careers in research and scholarship.
