CP6250 - Hazardous Waste Planning and Management

Course Description
 

Examines the planning tools and management techniques for the proper use, storage, transport, and disposal of hazardous material and waste products.

 

The course covers hazardous materials definitions, current and emerging management practices, tracking and transportation systems, disposal practices, pollution prevention, legal liability issues, current and proposed legislation, and the regulatory institutions with control over hazardous material and wastes.
