Research Projects

The Construction Resource Center is currently engaged in many areas of research related to the built environment.

• A collaborative research program is underway with the General Services Administration.
• We are engaged in research activities with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to provide a holistic review of CDC's Roybal Infectious Disease Laboratory in Atlanta.
• Establishing an e-Commerce knowledge center for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry is an ongoing focus for CRC. The Knowledge Center will serve as a focus group for "e-AEC" initiatives and as a clearinghouse for academic research in the fields of e-business, collaborative commerce and co-engineering strategies in the building industry.
• CRC has established a partnership agreement with the Civil Engineering Research Foundation (CERF) for continuing collaborative work.
