About
The Master of Science in Building Technology explores
analytic means of understanding the design and behaviors of building systems.
It focuses on aspects of the building performance such as heat transfer,
acoustics, lighting, ventilation (computational fluid dynamics), building
controls, life-cycle & maintenance, construction, and structures.
The MSc in Building technology also explores design decision-making and
workflow processes, particularly those related to optimization, simulation-based
design methods, and/or collaborative design. This stream is applicable
for students who are interested in a pre-PhD masters in architectural
engineering. It is also a post professional degree for both starting and
mid-career professionals/consultants in architecture and building industry
who wish to specialize in a particular building technology.
