- How many students are enrolled in the undergraduate program in Building Construction?
- The undergraduate program has approximately 190 students.
- Are undergraduate students in Building Construction allowed to participate in a cooperative plan of study at Georgia Tech?
- Yes, the Building Construction students are allowed to participate in the non-traditional parallel program. This plan requires a student to work full time in the summer and part time in the fall and spring semesters for two years to receive their cooperative designation. Our students are not able to participate in the traditional cooperative plan.
- How and when do I file my Petition for Degree?
- Students are required to complete their Petition for Degree one semester prior to their expected semester of graduation. The dates are posted on the
School Calendar
. You will need to submit your petition to the Academic Advisor no later than 1 week prior to the deadline. Your petition will be reviewed and signed at which time you will be contacted to pick-up your petition and pay the Diploma Fee to the Bursar's Office and then turn in the petition to the Degree Certification Office in room 104 of Tech Tower. You will also be asked to complete your Exit Survey when you pick-up your petition from the Academic Advisor.
