Program Description

The Building Construction and Integrated Facility Management Master's Degree Program offers a comprehensive education experience through relevant course work, seminars, and hands-on learning exercises that enable students to become academic and industry leaders of the twenty-first century.

The program provides graduates with a clear understanding of the management skills and expertise necessary to be successful within the facility management industry. Topics explored include: real estate, financial analysis, safety and environmental issues, maintenance management, professional trends, project planning, management and benchmarking.

Georgia Tech's master's program has received accreditation from the International Facilty Management Association (IFMA); currently Georgia Tech is one of only two universities in the country to offer a graduate degree in facility management. In addition, the master's program has worked closely with facility management professionals and related associations to ensure that the curriculum offered is consistent with the needs of professionals in the industry.
