The 60" long Eight Fold Table was designed around the capabilities of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers.  It is made of 36 layers of 18mm Baltic Birch which were cut on the 3-axis router and glued together to form the table.  The table was given a perimeter cut on the 5-axis router to achieve its final shape.

The Eight Fold Table was selected for exhibition in the 2005 Furniture Society Conference: Faculty Selects: Student Studio Furniture Exhibition.
