Seven Industrial Design students in courses offered at AWPL were selected as finalists in the 2007 AWFS "Fresh Wood" student furniture design competition. The competition is open to all college and high school students in the US. Four of the Georgia Tech students received plaques and cash prizes for their efforts at the Las Vegas based competition.
