This modern take on the classic cedar chest was inspired by the concept of precious items wrapped in a ribbon bound box. The ribbons on this chest are made of stips of walnut, maple and aromatic cedar. The strips also form the handles and the feet of the chest. Naturally, the inside of the baltic birch chest is lined in aromatic cedar.

The chest was a finalist in Casegoods at the 2007 AWFS Fresh Wood furniture competition in Las Vegas, NV.
