Working with the principle of duality, this design serves as a light table and a traditional desk. The curves of the desk surface, made of birch plywood, contrast with the square forms of the light box, made of plywood and translucent acrylic. The light box is painted in a complimentary color to the edge grain of the plywood of the desk.
