Animation & Visualization Software for Optimum layout of CNC Machinery: Furniture Production Simulation

This project has developed a discrete flow simulation model of the AWPL equipment. It is being set up to model both graphically and temporally the production of parts for a particular piece of furniture. Different mixes of equipment may be tried as well as different furniture designs. The model will predict throughput, queues, balance, and production rates. Other capabilities are being planned.
