The Autumn Chair and Autumn Rocker

more information

The Autumn Chair and Autumn Rocker, with solid wood construction and an intriguing inlay of maple, cherry and oak leaves, brings forth the warmth and elegance of solid wood with a style that blends into a variety of settings.

The 1998 Unlimited By Design Exhibition at the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Museum of Design featured the Autumn Chair as an example of the implementation of the principles of Universal Design. These principles can be found in the lowered seat height, integral lumbar support, sculpted seat, extended armrests, and a wide footprint that combine to create a chair that cradles the body with comfort, while providing a sense of security during ingress and egress.
