Advanced Wood Products Laboratory

Inside the Lab

The Advanced Wood Products Laboratory is housed at a renovated 17,000 square foot facility at 676 Marietta Street, adjacent to the Georgia Tech campus. The machine centers are located in the 13,000 square foot high-bay space. A two story 4,000 square foot office and teaching space in the front of the facility houses offices for faculty, research staff and graduate students, affiliates in the Partners in Industry Program and strategic partners such as SCM Group. The AWPL also offers a 14-station computer laboratory on the second floor and a 10-station computer laboratory on the first floor, a galley for food service and a state-of-the-art multi-media conference room.
