Intensive AlphaCAM for Designers/Draftsmen

This course is designed as an alternative for industry individuals with EXTENSIVE Computer-Aided Design experience (previous CNC experience a plus). It is an alternative for Designers and Engineers who wish to undertake the complete Basic AlphaCAM class in 2 days. This is also a great refresher course for people that have not been able to practice their AlphaCAM skills and would like an “intensive-course” in Basic AlphaCAM techniques.

This course assumes that the individual is a competent computer drafter/designer. Please do NOT consider this class unless you have been using CAD technology for a considerable amount of time. Due to time constraints, this course will not be able to address basic drafting issues.

Prerequisite skills:

Participants should possess working knowledge of the Windows Operating System (Win2000 or higher). Web browsing and email DO NOT count as working knowledge. Skills required are: Screen Navigation and File Management (Copy, Paste, Rename, New Folder, etc). This is a computer based class and participants should be comfortable with the use of the mouse (click, double-click, right-click). The participant should also be familiar with architectural concepts and 2-D drawings. This course is not recommended for any individual not having prior CAD experience.
