Dr. Lesniewski is a research faculty in the College of Architecture. Dr. Lesniewski has joined the Architecture Program in 1984 and over the years taught courses in Computer Graphics, Computer Aided Design and Computer Modeling and Visualization. He is currently offering courses include 3D Computer Modeling and Advanced Modeling and Animation. He is a founding member and the director of Imagine Lab, a research lab specializing in architectural visualization. The Imagine Lab gives students an opportunity to work on variety of 3D computer modeling and animation projects delivered on interactive media and/or in real-time environments, through Graduate Research Assistantships. The lab employs around 10-12 students with an interest in this area per academic year.
Tolek received his MS in Electrical Engineering and PhD. degrees from Warsaw Technical University, Poland in 1971 and 1980 respectively. Dr. Lesniewski is a faculty member of GVU (Graphics, Visualization and Usability) center in the College of Computing.
