A native Texan, Bill comes to Atlanta from the University of Texas at Austin, where he taught undergraduate and graduate design studios for the past three years. Having practiced professionally for the past decade, Bill's experience includes work with firms Olson, Sundberg, Kundig, Allen (Seattle) and John Mayfield (Texas). Currently, a sole practitioner (Studio.Jackson), he is also an associate with Loop Design, a Texas regional design firm specializing in green building and rain water collection. Bill's research interests include mid-century modernism and its lasting impact on regional residential development.
Bill received his B.S. in Radio Television Film from the University of Texas in 1991 and worked for three years in Los Angeles in production design for motion pictures. He earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. He is a registered architect in Texas, and maintains NCARB national certification.
