Richard Ducree is an adjunct professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology and . He has been teaching design studio since 2004. His research include the African Diaspora in France and Urban Planning at the Center of African and African Diaspora Studies, Kennesaw State University.
Apart from working as an architect, he is also a principal of "RAD1Studio". He works out of Atlanta and New York for the past 10 years as a photographer/ photojournalist. He has found a passion of blending the two disciplines in to his work. He expresses the similarity of forms of buildings with the human body.
Ducree received his Bachelor of Fine Arts-Design from the University of Massachusetts (1991) and M.Arch from Georgia Institute of Technology (1996). Before teaching at Georgia Tech, he was adjunct professor at the American Inter Continental University from 2000-2002.
