The Georgia Tech International Plan

Decorative ArrowInternational Plan website

The International Plan is a challenging and coherent academic program for undergraduates that will develop global competence within the study of architecture. The International Plan is an intensive degree long program designed to prepare Georgia Tech graduates professionally and personally for success lives in the 21st Century.

Participation in the International Plan will gain students:

While many students gain some exposure to these aspects of today's world through the patchwork of traditional international opportunities such as study abroad and international internships, the International Plan is designed to develop a deeper level of competency in these areas both generally and within the student's major.

Students in the Architecture Program can fulfill the International Experience requirement of the International Plan in one of two ways; participation in the College of Architecture Paris Program; participation in two semesters (at least 26 weeks) in another international study program(s). Students who are not participating in the Paris Program must participate in a program that is approved by the Institute. These programs include destinations such as Australia, London, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, and Turkey. More information about the programs may be found on the International Plan website.
