Daniel Center, Genoa, Italy

A scholarship sponsored by the Atlanta architectural firm of TVS & Associates helps support participation by one graduate student from each of the three regional architecture schools of Clemson, Auburn, and Georgia Tech during the spring semester at the Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy.

The Daniel Center is operated under the auspices of Clemson University, which provides all faculty and facilities for the program. Georgia Tech students enrolled in the 3 ½-year graduate program are eligible to apply for participation in the program during the spring semester of their second year.

Students enroll in design studio and three elective courses while in Genoa, and those credits are applied toward the student's Georgia Tech degree requirements. While in Genoa, students participate as part of a group of 22 graduate students in a rich experience of architectural studies and travel.
