The International Plan is a challenging and coherent academic program for undergraduates that will develop global competence within the study of architecture. The International Plan is an intensive degree long program designed to prepare Georgia Tech graduates professionally and personally for success lives in the 21st Century.
The Architecture Program conducts an annual study abroad program for qualified senior-level architecture students in Paris, France in association with the Ecole d'Architecture Paris-La Villette. The year-long program offers courses taught by both Georgia Tech and native French faculty paralleling those courses taught in Atlanta while offering an international experience.

The College of Architecture Graduate Summer Program in Europe explores architecture, landscapes and urban design in four locations: Barcelona, Berlin, Holland and Paris. Spending about two weeks in each location allows time to visit important modern and contemporary urban, architecture and landscape design projects, understand each location’s historical, urban and environmental structure, and experience everyday urban life in context.

This eight-week traveling program offers an intensive twelve-hour course of study and is open to all students on the Georgia Tech campus. Nine of the twelve hours are approved humanities electives. The program introduces students to Mediterranean and Classical civilization through an intensive study of the art and architecture of Greece and Italy. All lectures are delivered in the field at archaeological sites, in historic buildings, and museums.

The construction industry is becoming much more international. Through the Building Construction Study Abroad Program you will be able to visit international construction and architectural firms, as well as various construction sites. This Study Abroad Program will allow students to experience first hand the global partnership, while developing a greater appreciation for international practices, culture and technology. Students spend one summer semester in Paris taking three required courses and one professional elective course earning twelve semester hours of credit toward their degree.
