Georgia Tech offers more than 80 exchange programs and 20 group faculty-led programs, sending 1000+ students abroad each year.
Undergraduate students majoring in architecture, building construction, or industrial design are encouraged to engage in international studies, and consider participating in Georgia Tech's International Plan.
Several exciting programs are available through the College of Architecture; however, students may explore all the international opportunities available across the Institute at the Office of International Education.

Summer Study in Greece and Italy
Open to all Georgia Tech students, graduate and undergraduate
This program is designed to introduce the architecture, painting and sculpture of the Classical Greek, Roman, Renaissance and Baroque world to non-architecture students. All instruction takes place on site, at museums, in historic buildings or on walking tours through the cities we visit. Read more
Modern Architecture and the Modern City
Open to graduate students in architecture, urban design, and city planning

An eight-week summer program that explores architecture, landscapes and urban design in three locations: Barcelona, Berlin and the Netherlands. The program examines the modern and contemporary city through the lens of the historical urban structure of each place and the ways that buildings, landscapes, and urban design have shaped it. Students earn 12 credits in this program, combining electives and independent research and documentation projects. Read more
International Urban Design Workshop
Open to graduate students in architecture, urban design, and city planning
Students and faculty in this program visit various world cities to conduct urban design workshops in cooperation with urban design, architecture, and planning schools abroad. In one recent workshop, 15 Georgia Tech graduate students teamed up with 15 students from Tongji University in Shanghai to create urban design retrofit strategies for Pudong. Students normally earn six elective credits for the workshop and a companion course.
Summer Building Construction Program in Paris, France
Open to all Georgia Tech students, graduate and undergraduate
Each week of this intensive, 11-week program includes two days of classes, two days of structured site visits in and around Paris, and an extended, three-day weekend that begins early each Thursday afternoon and ends when classes resume at noon on Monday. Read more
Industrial Design Semester Exchange
Open to graduate and undergraduate students in industrial design
The School of Industrial Design has a program-to-program agreement with The University of Lund (Sweden). In addition, Georgia Tech has exchange agreements with numerous universities and by virtue of this our students can also pursue international studies at the following:
