Usage of all CoA computers is governed by the following policies:
The College of Architecture centrally oversees and maintains a large number of computing resources that support the college’s academic, research, and administrative activities throughout its nine campus facilities. The College of Architecture also provides remote access to technology resources for our national and international users.
In addition to providing access both a wired and wireless for personal computers the College of Architecture equips and supports 10 student computing labs located in various buildings across campus. There are also a number of institute managed labs that are available for student use throughout campus.
Located in West Architecture Building is the college’s main computing teaching lab. Room 359 (Computer Teaching Lab) is equipped with 40 Intel based PC’s running XP Professional. When the classroom is not being used for instruction, students are welcome to use the computers for academic computation.
This general purpose lab is located in the west architecture building. Students enrolled in College of Architecture programs or classes have access to this lab. The general mission of the lab is to give students access to the latest equipment and software to help them with their studies. Access is available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The lab is closed over institute holidays.
The Lab Assistant Office is located in Room 359a of the West Architecture building. There you can get assistance with most problems concerning your computer account, software or computer problems.

All classrooms within the College of Architecture are equipped with projectors, audio, and computer equipment. Classroom Technology, part of CLASS, supports academic multimedia systems for use by lecturers and teaching assistants. The office of Information Technology, OIT, provides support and information for the AV systems and computers in OIT-managed classrooms within the College of Architecture. GT Computer LabsThe Office of Information Technology (OIT) supports three computer labs on campus, the Student Center Lab, the French Lab, and the new Library West Commons Lab.
