Buzz Card Access

The BuzzCard serves a variety of functions to support your life experience at Georgia Tech. All students, faculty and staff of Georgia Tech are required to have a BuzzCard for identification purposes.

So what else can your BuzzCard do for you? Beyond identification, your BuzzCard allows you access to the College of Architecture facilities on campus.   The East/West Architecture buildings are open Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm.  The first floor main doors to the West Architecture building are open on Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm for access to the Architecture Library.  During all holiday/semester breaks the doors are locked down 24 hours a day. 

To have access to East/West Architecture buildings, please visit this page or email security@coa.gatech.edu to register your BuzzCard for after hours and weekend access to the CoA Buildings. Please allow one full business day for your card to be processed.

 

Please make sure all valuables are secured at all times.  If you bring a laptop to campus it should be secured with a security cable or kept in a locker when not in use. 

If you notice any suspicious individuals in the building at any time immediately contact the Georgia Tech Police Department at 404-894-2500.  You can also send an email to security@coa.gatech.edu or go by room 359a during working hours and speak to the lab monitor.
